Still Working On It
What are your plans for this holiday, the celebration of MLK's birthday? I should be out and about doing something, but here I sit at my desk, getting my writing on. As a matter of fact, still in my jammies and robe, looking like a hot mess. LOL But that's okay I am not expecting company and I am not sitting at my computer with a video camera running, so I am safe for today.
My new website is coming along great. I am working through it. I think I am almost done with it. I have everything in place and written content added on all of the pages. As a matter of fact, I worked on the last page this morning. So, I am thinking by the end of the day it should be ready to post. Then I can start concentrating on Ella Rose again. As you can see, I just jump from one project to another.
Well, here we are still without hot water. Oh, I forgot to mention that our hot water heater busted on Saturday. I haven't been able to get in touch with our insurance agent because it was the weekend and now a holiday. I called the emergency number too, but no luck in that department. It was like I was on a wild goose chase and I didn't catch the goose. I was told I could put in a claim, but then was transfered to another department. Automated crap makes me sick! I was told to take a survey...say what? That part didn't happen because another automated message came saying "thanks for calling," and then the phone line hung up. We probably will not get this worked out until tomorrow (Tuesday.) Let me tell you boiling hot water is a pain in the neck. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Besides, I am a survivor! I am dealing with it.
With that being said, how is your day going? Did you run into any bumps in the road? If so, keep your chin up and look to the sky, for tomorrow will be a brand new day and if blessed, you can start all over again. Either that or you can go back to bed and try it again later this evening. However, I am moving forward into this day. After all, I have a lot to do and so much to work on.
Talk to you later.
